Make your lawn stand out.
What is Hydroseeding?
Here's how it works... Grass seed, fertilizer, fibrous mulch and water are mixed into a thick slurry, which is evenly sprayed onto your prepared soil. You will get a thicker, more uniform lawn, which will be healthier and last longer than other traditional methods.
Once your soil has been hydroseeded, the grass seeds and fertilizer are suspended in a protective interlocking fibrous mulch mat. This mat not only prevents wind and water from eroding the new seeds, it also provides needed nitrogen as it decomposes. The mulch mat also serves as a sponge by holding moisture - critical for proper seed germination. In addition, the fibers create a micro-greenhouse effect for fast germination.
Results from Hydrodseeding are visible within 7-10 days depending on weather conditions at time of application.
Benefits of Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding provides a much faster, more efficient method for growing grass compared to sod.
It utilizes a combination of mulch, seed, fertilizer, and water, which is mixed in a tank and sprayed onto the ground surface.
With hydroseeding, you don’t have to worry about the health and safety of your family, pets, and the environment due to the fact that the mixture is non-toxic.
It aids in erosion control and bank stabilization.
The mixture provides extra cushion for the soil to protect against the impact of rain and other weather.
It’s more cost-efficient than laying sod.
You can typically see grass in five to seven days. It can take a few extra days in the case of extremely hot or extremely cold temperatures.
It can flourish in all conditions.
Out of all the methods for planting grass, this one leads to the highest water retention.
Hydroseeding guarantees even coverage.
